Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go gave aid to fire victims in Barangay Zapote V in Bacoor City and Talon Village, Las Piñas City despite being under self-quarantine.
We made sure that the fire victims in Bacoor and in Las Piñas were given assistance. Especially now that there is an enhanced community quarantine, we should double our efforts in responding to the needs of the fire victims because they have lost their homes where they are supposed to observe self-quarantine),” Go said.
The senator made sure that each affected family was given help.
Go’s team provided groceries, food, hygiene kits, masks and financial assistance to those who have lost their homes in accordance with quarantine protocols such as social distancing.
Some 304 families were rendered homeless in Bacoor while 119 families in Las Piñas also lost their homes.
In times of crisis, we cannot afford to delay the much-needed help for our fellow Filipinos. We will continue to serve),” Go said.
