“Ito ang mga panahon na kalimutan muna natin ang pulitika. Ito ang mga panahon na kailangan muna natin lagpasan ang nararanasan nating pandemya. Asahan niyo po kami ni Pangulong Rodrigo R. Duterte ay magtatrabaho sa abot na aming makakaya (These are the times when we must set aside politics. These are the times when we need to first overcome the pandemic. Rest assured that President Rodrigo R. Duterte and I will work to the best of our abilities),” Go told the residents.

The distribution of food packs was held at the Malhacan Integrated School in Barangay Malhacan, this city.

The senator was joined by several officials and personnel from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), National Housing Authority (NHA), and the Department of Agriculture (DA).

During the distribution, strict compliance with necessary health protocols was made to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease.

Go also distributed face masks, face shields, 25 bicycles, 25 computer tablets, and vitamins. He also gave pairs of shoes to some typhoon victims.

The senator’s team was warmly welcomed by Rep. Henry Villarica of the 4th District of Bulacan and his wife Meycauayan City Mayor Linabelle Villarica.

The Villarica couple thanked President Duterte, Go, and his team for their support and assistance.

Last week, the senator also provided the same assistance to the typhoon-hit residents in the towns of Calumpit and Marilao as assisted by Governor Daniel Fernando. (Manny Balbin, PNA)
